Our Privacy Commitment

At DICE LINKED, we respect your privacy while providing a premium, connected dice-rolling experience. This policy describes how we handle information in our application and website.

We require no account sign-ups, store no personal identification profiles, and retain zero roll history on our servers.

1. Information We Process

We do not require user accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords. When you use DICE LINKED, you roll anonymously.

  • No Gameplay Log Retention: Our multiplayer servers run entirely in-memory. Once you close your browser or leave a lobby, your connection state is instantly destroyed. No database records of your roll results are written to disk.
  • Local Storage: We use local storage on your device strictly to save your settings and preferences. This includes your custom dice tray configurations (presets), player profile details (nickname and avatar), visual preferences, selected language, room configuration choices (such as guest permission flags), and local app usage metrics (like roll count tracking used to trigger native app review prompts). This data remains entirely on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.

2. Third-Party Advertising and Analytics

To keep our service available, we display third-party advertisements on the website and app, and use analytics tools to monitor performance.

  • Advertising Providers: Third-party ad networks may serve ads within our Service. These providers may collect and process device-specific information (such as your IP address, user-agent, or mobile advertising identifiers) and use cookies or web beacons to customize, deliver, and measure ad performance.
  • Performance Analytics: We use lightweight web analytics (such as Pirsch Analytics) to count pageviews and monitor general traffic channels without tracking individual identities or cross-site behaviors.

3. In-Memory Room Synchronization

To coordinate rolls across connected screen devices in real-time, room synchronization data is processed purely in-memory.

This temporary signaling data (containing dice values, coordinates, and roll seeds) is discarded instantly once transmitted to the players in your room, and is never written to disk or logged.
